LOL Too many years of Around The Horne made that article a bit redundant. I use Polari in my Sweeney stories, much to the puzzlement of some US readers. It's quite evident in the show most of the crims using it and some of the coppers. It'd be a fair bet our Mr. Holmes would have a good working knowledge.
